This video is special for two reason. First, for being our first music video made together under REMIX productions. Second, we were experimenting with digital cameras acting as camcorders instead of using real mini-DV cams. There were a lot of advantages to using digital cameras over a real camcorder, but we had to make sure it was possible to actually make a video with just a digital camera.

• No DV film needed (just SD/CF cards)
• No firewire capture needed - already pre-compressed in MPG or AVI
• Small, compact, less conspicuous
• Universal - everyone has a digital camera!

• Focus - digital cameras don't focus as well as camcorders
• Zoom - digital cameras can't zoom as far
• Aspect ratio - digital camera footage is slightly "skinnier" than regular DV dimensions
